Dr. Steven Gaglio Rivas
Dr. Rivas has been following his calling for over 25 years. Having owned and operated two successful cosmetic dentistry practices in Silicon Valley and in Napa Valley, it wasn’t until 2010 that Dr. Rivas moved his family to Texas. He successfully practiced at numerous hospitals and offices around Texas before finally settling in Kerrville, in 2019. He has a long family history in the Lone Star State. He and his wife made the choice to return their family back to a more simple, familial, and traditional lifestyle that reflects their beliefs. Couldn't be anywhere, but Texas!
Dr. Rivas is on the Surgical Staff at Peterson Regional Medical Center. He is a Texas Dental Board Level II Sedation Certified Dentist, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified. He is a member of The Hill Country Forum For Dental Excellence chapter of The Seattle Study Club. Dr. Rivas fully enjoys treating patients of all ages – from children to adults, and special needs patients.
When not providing world class dental services, Dr. Rivas loves spending his time with his wife, their three children, and their three dogs. Besides dentistry, Dr. Rivas is also passionate about traveling, music, food and wine, language, science, and history.

Francine Medici
Book Keeping
Francine studied business in New York and Silicon Valley, graduating with a degree in Anthropology from California State University, San Jose. She enjoys cooking, culinary history, travel, and spending time with her husband, 3 children, and 3 dogs. She hasn't always been a Texan, but she's glad she got here to raise her family where others share her traditional beliefs and values.
Shirley Hicks
Treatment Plan Coordinator and Scheduler
Born and raised in Uvalde, Texas Shirley is a native Texan through and through. She always goes the extra mile for our patients. With over 25 years of experience in the dental field, she has extensive knowledge of treatment plan coordination and insurance. In her spare time, she enjoys all things Country, including rodeos, Cutting Horses, and two stepping.
Johana "Jackie" Navarro, RDA
Jackie is a graduate of Tivy High School. She attended Concorde Career College in San Antonio where she obtained her RDA license. Jackie loves spending time with her husband, two children, and their dog. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding with her family, reading, and dancing. She choose her dental career to help others feel good about their smiles.
Brenda Chimal, RDA
Brenda is a native of Hunt, Texas. She graduated from Dental Assisting School of Texas, in Kerrville. She enjoys spending time with her family and on the weekends going to car shows.
Janie Spindler
Registered Dental Hygienist
Janie is a graduate of University of Texas, Health Science Center, San Antonio. She has over 30 years of experience. She is a bilingual San Antonio native. She has 5 adult children and 9 grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, spending time with her family and church.
